It is widely eaten in many combinations viz.
Chole Paratha, Chole Chawal, Chole Kulche, Chole Bhature, Chole Puri each having its own significant taste.
It is basically boiled Chickpeas cooked in Spicy gravy that has delicious aroma and taste that keep you asking for more.
The fiber, potassium, B vitamins, iron, magnesium, and selenium in chickpeas all support heart health.
It is also cooked in many variants that is Black Chana Masala (Black Gravy), Red Chana Masala / Brown Chana Masala (Red Brown Gravy).

It is prepared in round balls shaped snack, but can also be prepared in patties or tikkis.
A popular snack which is also known Batata vada is a deep fried spicy potato dumpling.
It is prepared with spiced mashed potato bhaji which is then coated with besan batter and then deep fried till golden crisp.
It is a potato snack which is apparently a famous vegetarian fast food in maharashtra cuisine or street food.
It is served with a pav as vada pav or can be served with chass, green chutney or tomato ketchup.
INGREDIENTS:
For Filling:
* Gram flour (बेसन) – 1 Serving spoon
* Oil (तेल) – 2 Table Spoon
* Mustard (राई)
* Cumin seeds (जीरा) – 1/2 Tsp
* Asafoetida (हींग) – 1 Pinch (optional)
* Coriander+Fennel seeds (धनिया+ सौंफ) – 2 Tsp
* Garlic (लहसुन)
* Ginger (अदरक)
* Green chili (हरी मिर्च)
* Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
* Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
* Mango powder (अमचूर पाउडर) – 1 Tsp
* Roasted cumin powder (भुना जीरा पाउडर) – 1/2 Tsp
* Goda masala (गरम मसाला) – 1/2 Tsp
* Black pepper powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर) – 1 Tsp
* Potato (आलू) – 6-8
* Onion – 2
* Coriander leaves (धनिया पत्ती)
* Salt (नमक)
* Sugar powder (चीनी पाउडर) – 1/2 Tsp
For Batter:
* Gram flour (बेसन) – 1 & 1/2 Cup
* Carom seeds (अजवाइन)
* Salt (नमक)
* Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
* Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
* Baking soda (मीठा सोडा) – 2 Pinch (optional)
* Rice flour (चावल का आटा) – 1 Tbsp
* Water (पानी)
* Lemon juice (निम्बू का रस)
* Oil (तेल)
For Chaas:
*Curd
* Water (पानी)
* Garlic (लहसुन) – 1 Spoon
* Green chili (हरी मिर्च)
* Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
* Salt (नमक)
* Mint leaves (पुदीने की पत्तियां)
* Coriander leaves (धनिया पत्ती)
